What Our Students and Faculty are Saying

FAQs About Study Abroad In Vietnam

Yes, Vietnam is a friendly and safe country. Moreover, we employ safety measures from the start to the endpoint of the journey. However, we request you keep your bag/wallets safely with you during the travel.

No, it’s not necessary to learn the local language for the academic tour. However, it would be helpful to learn common phrases like “hello” or “thank you” in Vietnamese.

Due to security reasons, we do not recommend students travel to cities that are not a part of the itinerary. Moreover, our programs are intensive with full-day activities, so it would be difficult to make time for any travel during the study tour. In case you wish to travel before or after the tour, your institution and Authentica should be informed well in advance.

The program group will be accompanied by the Authentica team member(s), who will be available 24X7 during the program. They have also been certified by the Red Cross in first-aid emergency training.  In case of an emergency, appropriate measures (seeking medical assistance or hospitalization) will be taken in real-time.

International flights (depending on the arrangement with the university and Authentica), meals (if not covered in the proposal), shopping expenses, local SIM card, personal expenses, etc. can be counted as additional expenses.
