How We Are Supporting DEI in Education Abroad

Authentica is dedicated to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion across all aspects of our operations, programs, and interactions. We embrace the principles of DEI and commit to the following:

  • We prioritize equitable access to study abroad programs by offering financial assistance and removing barriers
    that hinder participation.

3. Ensuring Inclusion:

  • We actively seek input from diverse voices and incorporate inclusive practices in program development, support services, and decision-making processes.

  • Our commitment to fostering inclusion goes beyond cultural diversity, as we actively collaborate with accessibility services, provide support for students with different abilities, and engage in ongoing efforts to make our study-abroad opportunities accessible to a wide range of students.

4. Eliminating Discrimination:

  • Discrimination, harassment, or bias based on race, color, religion, gender, identity, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, or any other protected characteristic will not be tolerated within Authentica.

  • We have clear reporting mechanisms in place to address and resolve instances of discrimination promptly and effectively. Any DEI issues can be reported to diversity@authentica.com

5. Education and Awareness:

  • We actively incorporate diversity, equity, and inclusion principles into our study-abroad programs, ensuring that students engage with and appreciate a wide range of perspectives, cultures, and backgrounds.

  • We are committed to ongoing education and training for our staff and partners on DEI topics, promoting cultural
    competence and awareness.

  • We regularly review and enhance our programs, policies, and resources to ensure they align with the principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion, fostering an environment where every participant feels valued and supported.

  • We actively seek input from faculty, staff, and students, using their insights to refine and adapt our programs and align them with the principals of DEI.
