Faculty-Led Study Abroad Programs

About Faculty-Led Study Abroad Programs

Custom and faculty-led programs fulfill the vision, goals, and priorities of our partners while benefitting from Authentica’s focus on sustainability, career development, and student success. A skillful combination of academic and experiential, faculty-led programs help students achieve faculty-identified learning objectives through coursework, site visits, local subject matter experts, and active learning.

Key Elements of Faculty-Led Programs

Organization Visits

The visits explore diverse institutions across sectors, providing firsthand exposure to global practices, innovations, and cultural perspectives.

Expert Lectures

Distinguished experts share valuable insights and real-world experiences, engaging in a meaningful dialogue with students.

Interactive Workshops

The workshops provide hands-on learning experiences through activities like language lessons, cooking classes, and dance instruction to develop practical cross-cultural skills and competencies.

Reflection Sessions

Facilitated reflection sessions encourage students to reflect upon the experiences they had on the program, and how the experiences have impacted them.
