    Spain is generally considered a safe destination for travellers. However, it is always advisable to take precautions and stay informed about any specific safety guidelines or recommendations in the area where you will be travelling.

    The official language of Spain in Spanish. Although English is usually spoken by many people in the major cities, it is helpful to learn a few basic phrases in Spanish for local interactions. 

    The program group will be accompanied by the Authentica team member(s), who will be available 24X7 during the program. They have also been certified by the Red Cross in first-aid emergency training.  In case of an emergency, measures will be taken in real-time.

    In Spain, it is common to greet people with a handshake. It’s polite to say “por favor” (please) and “gracias” (thank you). Some local shops close during the afternoon as siesta (afternoon nap) is customary in Spain.

    Spain has a decent internet connectivity across the country. However, the availability of phone and internet connectivity will depend on the city/village chosen for the immersion program. Students can also purchase local SIMs, at an additional cost, for data, calls, and texts.
