Hungary is known for its centuries-old folklore, which has been passed down through generations. Folk dances, known for their intricate footwork, and folk music, known for their passionate melodies, hold a special place in Hungarian culture. Hungary’s architecture is an exquisite testament to its rich history. Budapest’s cityscape is a fusion of Gothic, Baroque, Neo-classical, Art Nouveau, and Modernist styles. The iconic Hungarian Parliament, an example of neo-Gothic architecture, and the Buda Castle, an amalgamation of Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque elements, epitomize the architectural diversity of Hungary. Hungary’s natural beauty is equally captivating. The rolling hills, lush forests, and tranquil lakes of the countryside add a soothing effect to the senses.
