Program Overview
Following four days of conference activities in Hong Kong, this post-conference extension offers international educators an authentic, behind-the-scenes experience of Hong Kong and Macau beyond typical tourist attractions. IMPACT is designed to help international educators deeply understand Hong Kong’s community landscape, social challenges, and cultural richness so they can confidently prepare and send their students to study abroad in Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area.
Through direct engagement with grassroots organizations, local neighborhoods, and social enterprises, participants gain the firsthand knowledge and connections needed to design meaningful, community-engaged study abroad programs. This is not a tourist program—it’s a professional development experience that equips educators with the cultural competency, local networks, and practical insights to become advocates for Hong Kong study abroad programs on their campuses.
