Healthcare Internship in Thailand

Sustainable Development Goals in Action

Program Overview

This hands-on experiential program will engage pre-med/pre-health students on shadowing as well as hands-on projects with Bangkok-based organizations involved in the research and delivery of health services.

Asia has always been and continues to be a source of innovation in healthcare, starting from Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) that’s 23 centuries old to its modern-day identity as a preferred destination for medical tourism and a hub of innovation for digital healthcare solutions. This internship will provide students with a front-row opportunity to experience all of this and more through exposure visits and relevant project-based learning opportunities.

Students will work closely with organizations on projects that align with their backgrounds and interest areas and will often work in teams to accomplish the objectives of their respective projects. In addition to the academic and professional growth through the projects, students will also experience local life and culture through guided cultural immersions that will set the stage for their own personal exploration of the city/region during their internship.
